| i found a few things on steam support about it!!
***ClientRegistry.blob Fix*** https://support.steampowered.com/kb_article.php?ref=7241-EYON-2343
READ THIS RIGHT HERE! ****Could not load module bin/vgui2.dll****
I keep getting a 'fatal error:could not load module bin/vgui2.dll' steam error message.
When you recieve this error message it means that you have installed steam twice on your computer under different installation paths. Completly uninstall steam and reinstall steam in one directory. You can uninstall steam through Add/Remove programs in Control Panal or if the option to uninstall steam is not preset, you will have to delete the steam installation by hand.

| Yea bro, if you've tried all that, go straight to steam. It's interesting that uninstalling, clearing, and reinstalling didn't help considering the error meant you had installed twice. Puzzling indeed. And, LOL @ Warp | |

| linux does have its uses, and downsides.
That being said, if this is a new Steam UI, then perhaps there is an issue directly concerning the linux version you are using. have you tried browsing some linux forums in regards to a fix that might have nothing to do with valve but with linux?
